Clean Energy Canada, a Simon Fraser University think-tank, recently released a study about the clean energy sector in Canada. Everyone is surprised to find how broad the field actually is. Merran Smith, the executive director, said, “What we found is that we’re missing more than half the picture when we talk about energy in Canada.” She said people think of pipelines, Alberta, oil and gas, and miss the clean-energy field which includes every province in Canada. If you are considering branching out into a new career, contact Canadian Visa Professionals (CanadianVP). Their team will walk you through the visa process for working in Canada.

The report showed that clean energy equaled about three percent of Canada’s GDP in 2017, close to $57 billion. It saw growth of five percent a year between 2010 and 2017, which outpaced the 3.6 percent growth of the entire economy. Clean energy jobs in Canada increased 2.2 percent per year between the same years, compared to 1.4 percent for the total number of positions in the country. The industry saw an increase in investment from 21 billion in 2010 to 35.3 billion seven years later. Smith said, “This is good news for Canada.” She thinks the government needs to do a better job at marketing Canada as the “clean-energy giant” and not focus on just the country’s natural resources. Contact Canadian Visa Professionals for help with the immigration process to Canada. There are many opportunities for you and your family in this welcoming country. Their team of professionals can answer any questions you may have.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]One thing that the team of experts at Canadian Visa Professionals talk about with their clients is the quality of life that they want to enjoy when they move to Canada. By looking at the yearly Quality of Living Index released by Mercer, it’s easy to find what will meet the needs of people moving to Canada. This comprehensive ranking considers the economic environment, socio-cultural environment, housing, recreation, and more.

While the world’s top city to live in is Vienna, Austria, Canada is well represented on this list. Vancouver is fifth for quality of life, thanks in part to its immigrant diversity. Many people who want to move to Vancouver and experience the multicultural scene there choose to work with the Canadian Visa Professionals company.

Ranked at number 16, Toronto is represented as the financial capital of Canada. The five largest banks in Canada are located here and it has an amazing entertainment scene. In addition, this is where the world-famous Toronto International Film Festival is held. The thriving cultural scene in Toronto is a draw for many people working with the Canadian Visa Professionals.

A third Canadian city, Ottawa, is rated number 19. Thanks to its high education and educational institutes, combined with low unemployment, Ottawa is a very popular place to live in Canada. While other countries such as Germany are well represented on this list, Canada has three cities making the top 21 on the planet for quality of life.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_message]This article in a nutshell
