Canadian Visa Professionals could confirm that Regina, Saskatchewan, has the lowest cost of living with the most affordable housing cost of all the Canadian cities.

According to a new study, residents can live comfortably with less than $2,000 a month in the city while they continue to enjoy all the available social amenities.

Regina is a city in south Saskatchewan with a little over 226,000 residents and is about a two-hour drive from Montana’s border.

Canadian Visa Professionals describes Regina as a city rooted in indigenous history, housing indigenous tribes for thousands of years. The city is about 120 years old and was named Regina by the European settlers in the 19th century, a Latin word for the queen in honour of Queen Victoria.

The Canadian government will again allow people approved for permanent residency to come to Canada as pandemic restrictions are easing. Any foreign national with a valid Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) will be allowed across the border. COPRs are legal for one year and those with expiring or expired COPRs will be given more information on how to apply for a new one.

Canadian Immigration Minister Marco Mendicino acknowledged the safety and security of the country remains a top priority as they support the safe arrival of new permanent residents to Canada over the next twelve months. The new permanent residents will be able to begin a new life in Canada and the country will benefit from their talents during the post-pandemic economic recovery.

COPR holders coming to Canada will need to comply with quarantine and testing requirements. This new report is a part of the more widespread easing of travel restrictions. Travelers who are able to come to Canada under the current rules and are fully vaccinated will not have to self-isolate for two weeks, take a test on the eighth day, or stay in a quarantine hotel when they arrive. Contact Canadian Visa Professionals today and begin the application process for the required visa to live and work in Canada.

The political unrest in Hong Kong is playing a part in the surge of interest from potential immigrants to Canada.

The number of study permit applications and skilled worker applications has been on the rise. Many of the youth in Hong Kong are in disagreement with the government over the loss of freedoms that were set in place after the region returned to Chinese rule. Two natives of Hong Kong studied and lived in British Columbia, but planned to return to their homeland after graduation.

Canadian Visa Professionals: Two natives of Hong Kong studied and lived in British Columbia

Due to the government’s crackdown on the region’s civil liberties, they are changing their plans. If you are looking for a country where there are freedoms, contact Canadian Visa Professionals. Their team of experts will walk you through the application process to obtain a visa to Canada.

Tim Chan and Maggie Tong both studied at the University of Victoria, where Chan is in his last year of being a sociology major. Tong already went back to China and Chan planned to do the same upon graduation. Chan said it is hard to watch his homeland die, referring to the increase of suppression.

The COVID 19 global pandemic changed how the Housing Design Awards looked this year in Ottawa.

There was no gala dinner to announce the winners, but the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association quickly improvised and went virtual. Instead of over 600 black-tie guests convening on the Shaw Center, close to 170 groups participated online from work or home as the winners were showcased.

Canadian Visa Professionals: close to 170 groups participated online

Although it was unusual, one benefit is anyone can watch and be a part of the special evening. If you want to live in a desirable country, contact Canadian Visa Professionals. Their team of experts will help you apply for the required visa to live and work in Canada.

Chairperson Oliveri Blanchard, a member of the awards committee for over twelve years, said this was one of the most challenging years organizing the gala event. The committee saw what other associations did through the year and watched shows like The Voice to decide on the best ideas to apply to the awards.

She said they walked into the situation with zero ideas and pulled off an incredible night. Canada is an innovative country, and diversity is celebrated. Consider contacting Canadian Visa Professionals to receive information on the visa application process. Their team of experts will make sure the applications are prepared correctly.

The Canadian government is proactive in combating the potential labor shortage due to more than nine million baby boomers retiring over the next ten years. Marco Mendicino, the federal minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, has proposed increasing new permanent residents to Canada by one million over the next three years.

Mendicino said immigration is necessary to drive economic growth, assist companies in accessing the talent needed to thrive, and it spurs innovation. Canada is a desirable location for immigration and now is a great time to consider relocating. Contact CanadianVP for help applying for the visa required to live and work in Canada.

Economic Engine

A senior economist at RBC Capital Markets, Andrew Agopsowicz, said immigration has fueled Canada’s economic engine, helping the gross domestic product (GDP) grow at a faster rate than the national average in the larger cities. Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal’s populations would have declined dramatically in 2019 without Canadian immigration. The country grew by almost 580,000 people, and 80 percent of the growth happened by immigration, which helped offset Canada’s naturally aging demographic.

Healthy Inspiration

Former Bank of Canada governor Stephen Poloz noted there is no reason Canada should not be a desirable migration destination as long as the right protocols are set in place. He said there is a healthy inspiration for the government to figure out how to keep immigration an engine of economic growth. The team of experts at Canadian Visa Professionals will walk you through the steps for immigration. They will answer any questions you may have about the process. Contact them today!
